How do you choose favorite photographs? While I was in Cuba a few weeks ago, I took 6,140 photographs in seven days. My last blog post reflected the images that our well-known photojournalist teacher, Peter Turnley, selected as his favorites of my selections. This post includes the photographs that capture my favorite memories: the brightly colored facades and doorways, the morning sun flooding the rustic streets, and the Cuban people I just couldn’t help but fall in love with. When you think about Cuba, the 1950’s American cars are among the first that come to mind. I’ve included a few of those here as well.
