Dreaming of Greece: From Bleak to Bright

“Anywhere is paradise, it’s up to you.” -Anonymous

It’s winter in New York City and the New York Times Travel Show at the Javits Center just finished. A focal point of the show this year was Greece, India and South Africa among other spots. It’s inspiring to learn about globe-trotting tips, new trends and find great deals on travel destinations (like Iceland!)

In September I went to Greece which is when these photographs were made. My husband Steve met me in Santorini after I spent a week in Paros at a photography workshop with The Flo Show.

While sitting at my desk this week I had an urge to see the bright light and sparkling blues in my Greece photographs. It dawned on me that I had never done a proper post with these images. Here are a few to look at. Where are you going this year on vacation? Near or far?

I want to thank Flore Vallery-Radot and Sandra Choremi, for without them this experience in Greece would not have happened for me. Sandra’s home is divine as you can tell by the photographs above. Also to Sophie and Julia, the talented women in the kitchen photographs. Andreea, with flowers in her hair, is a friend from Milan. Thank you all.
