this and that

taken in by easter

Oh my goodness, the stores in Connecticut are already packed with shoppers. If you find yourself in New York City on Easter Sunday, head over to the spectacle of Fifth Avenue and the Easter Parade. I’ll be there. Because as William Eggleston (see below) says, “Photography just gets us out of the house.”

Lavender shopping, seeing more color now!

I’ve always loved looking at these peeps!

Yes! Now that I’m sugar-free, I’m just looking, not eating.

this fabulous photographer

William Eggleston is one of my favorite photographers. Now you can see his roaming show, with a stop in New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art until May 28, 2018. I do get out into the streets to shoot so William is quite the inspiration. I love his very real quotes and candor.

One final happy thought for this post. We just returned from visiting my friend and mother, Betty Kramer. She turned 90! I love you, MOM!

All of these photographs are taken by me (except the one of me with my mother, perhaps taken by her friend). I used my my trusty iPhone X for most.
