Prompted to Use the Whole Box of Crayons in Life
February 22, 2016
Life is about using the whole box of crayons.

Every year, Pantone, the global authority on color, chooses its color of the year. They check out the mood and attitude of the world and create a color scheme that designers and retailers and paint supply stores pay attention to. Sometimes it’s a wild wild color, this time it’s rather mellow and airy. For 2016, Rose Quartz & Serenity were the winners, the first-time ever two were selected. Bring on the “calm and relaxation”.
Me, I’m working on my own color project with bright colors, naturally.
This winter I embarked on a seven-week photo journey with a community of like-minded bloggers and photographers, Color Colour Lovers. (Please get involved with these fun prompts next time!) On my own social media pages I focused on sharing these photographs while channeling red, green, orange, pink etc. Since we are from all over the world, colors are ranging from bright sunny yellow to pure white snow. Today I share some of my blue and yellow favorites.
But first, yesterday was a day filled with WHITE. I just love this stark walkway in NYC. I could spend the entire day here. Plus I’m playing around with time-lapse, so it’s ‘quick’.
All photographs are taken by me, unless I have noted otherwise in the caption. I use my iPhone 6plus and Canon 5D III.
