A Classic Capstone to Summer: Horses in the Hamptons

Journeys, Featured

The Hampton Classic Horse Show is a perfect capstone to the end of summer. I have the good fortune of working with the agency that handles the press for the show. In my book, this is the most well-known and highly-publicized outdoor horse show in the country. I put this collection of photos together while averting seasickness as I crossed the Long Island Sound via ferry on my way home. The Hampton Classic is a marker in my year like a holiday and signifies the end of summer. I’m a little nostalgic and am sharing just a few classic images from horse shows past, but most are from this weekend. Luckily, as you can see, Hurricane Hermine didn’t spoil the weekend and in fact, the weather was glorious.
