Here is another installment in my “Over the Moon About” series, which highlights a few things that have struck me. I hope you walk away with some new ideas. Last week we saw glorious weather in New York City, which reminded me of how much I enjoy this place. I also stumbled on a new camera that provides instant gratification. And I was reminded of the importance of the simple things with a surprise gift of beautiful flowers.
Fuji Instax Mini 25 Camera
Do you ever attend an event, take photographs with your camera and wish you could hold the image in your hands right away? Meet the Fuji Instax Mini 25. I couldn’t wait to get ahold of this camera when I first saw these little images 2.5 x 2 inches in diameter. Currently, B&H Camera seems to have one for the lowest price, $89.95.
New York City
I’m over the Moon about ….. New York City. I was inspired to create another little video about the city I love, set to music, which I’m working on now. The first video I did is above for you to view. I used Final Cut and iMovie.
Another video format I love is easy stop-motion video using only photographs set to music. It’s why you often witness me taking several pictures at a time. I gifted the video to the parents of these children. So fun this day was!
Simple Gifts Mean So Much
It’s lovely when a friend comes to visit from over two hours away. It’s even sweeter when they come with a thoughtful gift, like flowers from a nearby Hudson Valley farm, F.W.Battenfeld & Sons, Producers & Purveyors of anemones. Simple gifts mean so much. I’m going to pay that forward.
