When it comes to marketing and PR, one of my favorite iPhone apps I use to jazz up my photographs is Waterlogue. With Waterlogue, I can turn basic pictures into unique images, and use them for posts to social media and more stylized promotion.
So how does the app work? It’s very simple. You download the app to your iPhone, iPad, iPodTouch for $2.99. Second, you snap a photo . You open up the app and choose the photograph that you’ve just taken. From there, you can use a variety of preset image alteration tools to turn your regular photo into something more creative.
I know in the design world — and Instagram, Google+ and Twitter worlds — this app is becoming quite popular. You can think of it as your own watercolor toolkit placed right on your cell phone.
Here are some examples of images I’ve transformed for my own marketing and PR needs. Perhaps you will get some ideas and see if this app would be a fun addition for you.
Stay tuned for more of my favorite ideas for marketing and PR.

These are gorgeous Moon! I am about to commandeer an under-utilized iPad to use photo apps on. I love the ones on my iPhone, but this is one I will load on to the iPad. My pal Catherine Anderson often share new ones that inspire me. We’d have a blast together. xooxox Love, S
